St. Joseph's Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program involves the evaluation, care, treatment and management of breathing difficulties. The program and has been designed to help individuals with chronic lung disease such as asthma, emphysema, bronchitis, bronchiectasis or a respiratory problem that has decreased their quality of life.
The benefits of this program include fewer and shorter hospital stays for the graduates and an improvement in their daily quality of living. Pulmonary Rehabilitation attempts to bring individuals who have a chronic respiratory problem to their highest level of well being and to minimize or reverse symptoms of lung disease.
