St. Joseph's Medical Center's 24-licensed bed Distinct Part Skilled Nursing Unit offers an entire spectrum of skilled care for patients recovering from stroke, pneumonia, surgery, and a variety of other conditions. Patients in the Medical Center that no longer require an acute level of care but do require skilled nursing care are transferred to this unit.
In addition to care from a highly skilled staff of nurses that provide intravenous therapy, specialist from rehabilitation services also provide physical, occupational and speech therapies as needed.
