About Us
The healthiest development throughout the San Joaquin, Amador, Tuolumne, Calaveras and Stanislaus counties is St. Joseph’s Occupational Health. We have two locations to serve you: one in Stockton, and one in Manteca. Our Immediate Care Center, Healthcare Clinical Laboratories, Rehabilitation Services and Star Clinic Physical Therapy services add to the most comprehensive Occupational Health Program available in the area. As one of its key operational features, St. Joseph's Occupational Health provides case management for proactive communication between the providers of care, the injured employee, the employer and the compensation carrier.
The program offers 24 hour, 7 day a week medical care. Most initial treatment and follow-up medical care is provided through our treatment centers. Treatment after hours is available through St. Joseph's Immediate Care Center or St. Joseph's Medical Center Emergency department, which is staffed by teams of professionally trained personnel and physicians.
As an additional component to our program, a Resource Center has been established and is dedicated to providing information to insurance providers, to the employers as well as working with the injured employee to insure that they are getting through the worker’s compensation system effectively and efficiently.
Our program caters to employers, offering light or modified duty and /or early return to work policies, rehabilitation services, health and safety management, on-site risk evaluations and work place consulting. There is no charge for setting up a program. The only time a fee is charged is when there is an employee injury or you have contracted for Employer Services Program. The fee that is charged for injuries is based on the Workers` Compensation Fee Schedule established by the State of California or the contracted rate that is established with the insurance provider or TPA.
