Neonatal Intensive Care
Sometimes Little Miracles Need Extra Special Care

Every baby is expected to be born healthy.  For newborns who need intensive medical attention, St. Joseph's Neonatal Intensive Care nursery (NICU) offers a caring environment combined with advanced technology and highly skilled physicians, nurses, and therapists to provide specialized care.  Our 14-bed unit is a Community Level III Neonatal Intensive Care.  That means that we can care for the tiniest and sickest of infants.  Our in-house, 24 hour-a-day team of health care professionals include:

  • Board Certified Neonatologist
  • State Certified Respiratory Care Practitioners
  • A Clinical Nurse Specialist
  • Specially trained and certified nurses
  • A transport team, with all necessary emergency room equipment to bring infants to the NICU from other hospitals.
