Sometimes Little Miracles Need Extra Special Care
Every baby is expected to be born
healthy. For newborns who need intensive medical
attention, St. Joseph's Neonatal Intensive Care nursery
(NICU) offers a caring environment combined with advanced
technology and highly skilled physicians, nurses, and
therapists to provide specialized care. Our 14-bed
unit is a Community Level III Neonatal Intensive Care.
That means that we can care for the tiniest and sickest of
infants. Our in-house, 24 hour-a-day team of health care
professionals include:
- Board Certified Neonatologist
- State Certified Respiratory Care
Practitioners
- A Clinical Nurse Specialist
- Specially trained and certified
nurses
- A transport team, with all necessary
emergency room equipment to bring infants to the NICU from other
hospitals.
